DeSean Jaccson Banner That Isn’t Actually DeSean is Coming Down Today
By Kyle Scott
Published:
Everyone thought this banner outside Lincoln Financial Field was DeSean Jaccson. It sort of looked like him, but it’s fairly obvious that the player isn’t wearing number 10. That first number is not a “1.” The Eagles make these ambiguous so they don’t have to change them every few years, so it’s totally possible this was meant to look like DeSean but wasn’t actually DeSean. Whatever the case, it’s coming down today, ostensibly because it looks like DeSean. CSN is just running with it anyway:
But the Eagles tell Eliot Shorr-Parks, oh great story-breaker he is, that it’s all part of scheduled construction:
According to #Eagles, the banner was scheduled to come down due to construction. Also it is not a "DeSean Jackson banner". Just a player
