DeSean Jackson, Alshon Jeffery Officially Ruled OUT for Sunday

Womp womp.
Here’s the Eagles’ Friday injury report:
- OUT: S Marcus Epps (rib), WR DeSean Jackson (hamstring), WR Alshon Jeffery (foot), T Lane Johnson (ankle), CB Avonte Maddox (ankle), G Matt Pryor (illness), LB Duke Riley (rib)
- QUESTIONABLE: CB Darius Slay (concussion)
Slay did clear protocol, so he’ll play.
The offensive line will be Jordan Mailata, Nate Herbig, Jason Kelce, Jamon Brown, and Jack Driscoll. Again we’ll see Travis Fulgham, Greg Ward, John Hightower, and JJAW at receiver, with Zach Ertz and Richard Rodgers at the tight end spots. It’s not a great injury situation.
For what it’s worth, D Jax and Alshon did practice Friday, they were just limited. Same with Avonte Maddox.
Ravens win by double digits Sunday. I think we’ve all accepted it at this point.
Here’s the report:
Edit –
I forgot to point out that because Alshon has missed six weeks and D Jax three, they could have put them on IR and PUP, respectively, but did not, and both dudes ended up taking roster spots.
