Devan Kaney Reveals New Job in Chicago

New gig:
Kaney was let go by 94 WIP back in March, then announced in June that she’d be leaving her freelance sports job with FOX 29 for a new opportunity. That’ll be the FOX station in Chicago, so she’s moving up to television market #3 from television market #5.
It’s a good gig, for real. The Bears are turning a corner with a franchise QB and a good coach, even though Ben Johnson can be a jerk at times. He’s got a little Sean Payton in him. But whatever, most good coaches are like that. There’s also the drama out there with the new stadium, which is apparently going to be in Indiana. So no shortage of stuff to talk about and report on.
WIP hasn’t announced an Eagles sideline reporter for this coming season, but it’s only July. Maybe they could bring back the Burger King, Howard Eskin. Just keep him away from the Aramark employees at Philadelphia Stadium Lincoln Financial Field. We’ll see. You never know!
