Expected, but now official for 2025.

Kaney took over WIP’s sideline gig after Howard Eskin, the Burger King, left the station to conclude the Aramark employee saga. Howard was suspended from Citizens Bank Park for allegedly trying to kiss a female worker, then wound up leaving WIP entirely a few months later. You know the story.

The Birds are actually undefeated since Kaney stepped in to fill Howard’s fur coat. They’re 6-0, including two regular season wins and four more on the road to Super Bowl victory. So you gotta keep a good thing going. This is really a 2-fer if you think about it. DK is a talismanic bit of good luck and Howard leaving WIP was addition by subtraction.
