Smith has been limited while recovering from the knee sprain he suffered at the beginning of the month. That was August 2nd, and Smith was originally listed as “week to week” when the injury report came out. The sprain was described as “minor” by national reporters, and nothing to be concerned about, but it kept Smith out of the Steelers game and limited his ability to get meaningful first team training camp reps.
Fingers crossed, he debuts tonight in midnight green.
