“So last year there was some disconnect between them, in their personalities… Those ten wins were a grind from what I was told. Every win felt like a really big feat for them because of the challenges that they were facing in terms of what they were doing on offense. It was Nick Sirianni’s show. It was all Nick. Playcall – everything you saw on that field was Sirianni.”
Honest question – does anybody care about this anymore? Things didn’t end well last year. Jalen liked Brian Johnson, his guy. We know that. Sirianni is back and so is Jalen Hurts with a new offensive coordinator. So we hope Kellen Moore gets these guys going again and Nick settles in with that CEO-type head coach role. I think everyone is aware that Shane Steichen was a big loss and the offensive staff was not on the same page in 2023. I’m happy to move on from this and start with a clean slate in 2024, at least until somebody calls a 3rd down bubble screen or “four verticals.” Then I want that person’s head on a pike.
