Not sure if you heard that rumor/report circulating about Doug Pederson being frustrated with the front office. He reportedly wouldn’t even be upset if he got fired.

Angelo Cataldi asked the Eagles head coach about that on Monday morning and Pederson responded with this:

“Angelo that is the furthest thing that – it’s laughable, quite honestly. Are we where we want to be? No, not at all. We all have to coach better, I have to coach better, we have to play better, we understand that. We have to figure out a way in this last month of the season to win a football game. We’ve got another great opportunity, another great opponent coming in here this weekend. I love everything about this organization, my job, the fans. It’s a great place. It’s a great place to work when things are going well. We know we’re in a bit of a slump. It’s not easy. It’s not an easy place to work sometimes because the pressure of performing as athletes and coaches. When things kind of go awry, as they have, I think this is when we look internally and say ‘how can I fix Doug Pederson first, how can I be a better leader, how can I be a better motivator and better coach and still get the most out of these guys?'”

Doug went on to say that he hasn’t made a starting quarterback decision for Sunday. He’s going to evaluate the position but he is “not there yet.”

Here’s the audio from his appearance on Angelo’s show:
