Doug Pederson’s Post Game Speech Was Typically Perfect

This was posted yesterday, but I stepped away for a few and didn’t see it until this morning. Thoughts regardless.

I’m a huge fan of how Doug breaks the season down into small chunks– first it was the run leading up to a long week off, then the bye week, now the last three games heading into the playoffs. He doesn’t give that bullshit one game at a time thing. He puts the season in its proper context and gives his players smaller goals to obtain. The NFC East has been conquered. Now it’s on to something bigger. What that something is – an epic flameout and first playoff game loss with Nick Foles or a Super Bowl appearance – is yet to be seen, but I weirdly have confidence in this group to impress beyond what may now be expected of them.

Side note: Malcolm Jenkins gives strong speech. You really think that shit would play with his bizarro world other Colin Kaepernick in the room? No. It’s all on St. Nick.
