The Eagles are signing TE Harrison Bryant, per league source. (@RapSheet had first.)
Bryant, 26, spent 4 years with the Browns and one season with the Raiders. He has 33 career starts.
Only 9 catches last season behind Brock Bowers.

Similar to Joshua Uche, he’s a 26-year-old who came out of the 2020 draft and didn’t stay with his first team beyond his rookie deal. Only 12 targets with the Raiders last season, but he was a solid backup tight end for the Browns and was good for about 200 yards and a couple of TDs his first couple of years. Bryant is a good blocker and they did some gadgety stuff with him as well. Considering that Dallas Goedert’s time is nearing an end, they need to find the next tight end to take the reins in Philly. The Eagles also ran 12 personnel more than 30% of the time last season, which was the NFL’s 9th-highest rate. Can’t have enough decent tight ends in the ranks, especially when you’re feeding Saquon Barkley.
