Eagles-Cowboys Week 11 Live Thread

After last week’s bye, the Eagles return to action on Sunday Night Football as they take on the Dallas Cowboys down in Jerry World.

On the injury front, Alshon Jeffery (ankle) is questionable to play, but Doug Pederson expects him to play. Adam Schefter confirmed the news earlier today as well. Ronald Darby and Zach Ertz will play. That’s all for the active Eagles.

For the Cowboys, it’s a little more extensive. First off, Ezekiel Elliott is in the second game of a six-game suspension. He’s somewhere training. As for non-suspended players, linebacker Sean Lee and kicker Dan Bailey are also out. Left tackle Tyron Smith, safety Jeff Heath, defensive tackle Maliek Collins, and backup tight end Geoff Swaim are all listed as questionable. Smith won’t play tonight, according to Ian Rapoport, which means Byron Bell will get the start. Heath’s status is up in the air, but he didn’t practice on Friday.

9:29 – This game has been mainly dominated by the defenses. Both offenses stymied right now. Eagles offense looking a little off.

9:22 – Elliott update:

9:17 – Wentz is out of the tent and reviewing plays. He should be fine. Let’s hope.

7:00 – Inactives are out. Wendell Smallwood is the odd back out, as some expected when the Eagles traded for Jay Ajayi before the Denver game. Newly signed veterans Will Beatty and Dannell Ellerbe are also out.

As for the Cowboys, Bailey, Heath, Lee, and Smith are out as expected. Darren McFadden is a healthy scratch. He only got one carry for a two-yard loss last week against Atlanta:
