Eagles Fan vs. Chiefs Fan in a Lincoln Financial Field Melee

Everybody knows that bad fan behavior happens everywhere, but unfortunately we had another incident at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday. A minor melee. A donnybrook. A brouhaha.
This is from Audacy employee Jesse Pantuosco, who is a senior content producer for the company that owns 94 WIP and KYW News Radio:

“The fight apparently began after an Eagles fan shoved a Chiefs (fan) and things just escalated from there. Security did not apprehend the fan who started it, according to Pantuosco.”
Yeah, well in the video you see the guy just walk away while security is attending to the Chiefs fan, whose pants fell down. It’s kind of crazy how the security guard is right there with the two guys, and yet the Eagles fan pushes the woman away and continues to drop left hands, like some UFC-style ground and pound. Looked like Alex Volkanovski vs. Brian Ortega there for a second.
This guy on Twitter claims he was there and that the Chiefs fan started the conflict:
Yes, he instigated the physical contact by shoving people several times before it went to hands being thrown.

Wonder what pushed these guys over the edge. I see multiple phones recording this incident, so I’m sure we’ll learn more. If you were in the area and saw what happened, drop us a line and we’ll update the story in the interest of accurate journalism. Hit me up at kevin@crossingbroad.com.
