The Cowboys lost at home to J.J. McCarthy and the 5-8 Vikings:
That means the Eagles’ magic number to win the NFC East is down to one. One Birds win or one Cowboys loss and the division has its first repeat winner since 2004.
Remaining schedules:
- Eagles (9-5): at Washington, at Buffalo, vs. Washington
- Cowboys (6-7-1): vs. Chargers, at Washington, at Giants
The best Dallas can get to is 9-7-1. The Eagles would have to lose out to get to 9-8. Barring a miracle, it’s pretty much over for Dem Boyz.
