Eagles Mystery Source Says Washington Postponement Has Been Discussed

Eagles mystery source checking in:
“There are talks of moving birds game to Tuesday.”
Oh God, not another Joe Webb game. Please, God, no.
If you’re not aware, there’s a mystery person who uses the Crossing Broad feedback form to give us information. We have no clue who this individual is. But if they’d like to make contact, meet me at the Dairy Queen on route 363 in Upper Gwynedd, and pick up the package behind the garbage can. It will give you instructions on what to do next.
But on a more serious note, this individual seems to have great info. They told us Steven Nelson was signing with the Birds and somehow knew Jalen Ramsey was being traded to LA. They had strong stuff on the Zach Ertz trade as well.
In this case, can the league even postpone games? If you go back to July, the NFL put out a new rule stating that teams would face possible penalties if unvaxxed players caused an outbreak:
The NFL just informed clubs that if a game cannot be rescheduled during the 18-week season in 2021 due to a COVID outbreak among unvaccinated players, the team with the outbreak will FORFEIT and be credited with a loss for playoff seeding, per sources.
Massive implications.

In this case, Montez Sweat came back from injury, then tested positive. He is reportedly not vaxxed. But Jonathan Allen and others ARE vaxxed. So I guess we get into a gray area of 1) when did this start and 2) is the unvaxxed guy responsible? It seems like that’s impossible to prove, like can we really know if Sweat gave it to these other guys? Or did vaxxed people give it to other vaxxed people?
That’s why it’s a tricky situation. The NFL has to go back and refer to this memo and make a decision soon:

Key phrase there: “postponements will only occur if required by government authorities, medical experts, or at the commissioner’s discretion.”
