Easy “Hack” if You Want to Tailgate All Day Saturday

Not sure I’d call this a loophole, but we’ve identified a way to tailgate from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday at the sports complex, if you’d like to have a life-threatening blood alcohol content before kickoff.
As you know, the Eagles/Giants game begins at 8:15 p.m. As a result, the Wings game, which was originally scheduled for 7 p.m., was moved to 1 p.m. If you’re going to the Eagles game, you can’t get into the lots first thing in the morning, but the shuffling of the Wings game means Wells Fargo Center parking lots are now opening at 8 a.m. –

Hypothetically, you could buy a Wings ticket for the entry-level price, roll into the lots with your Eagles tailgate, and then either get a multi-hour head start on drinking or go watch the lacrosse game before coming back outside to continue the festivities.
Seems like a win/win/win, no? You can combine the Wings/Eagles thing into a doubleheader, or just buy the Wings ticket and pay the lesser parking price to beat the later opening time for Linc parking.
It might seem like we’re doing the Wings dirty, but I don’t think that’s the case here. They’ll benefit either way, pulling another 10k+ crowd or making some money off those lots opening early even if fans don’t go into the arena for the game. I’m not sure how much Eagles fan/Wings fan crossover there is, but the rescheduling here moves up the parking lot availability at the sports complex and allows for some… “creativity” in approach.
Plus, the only thing the Wings are missing is an elite goalie:
