Every Time Jerry Jones is Booed by Cowboys Fans, an Angel Gets its Wings

The best story in the NFL right now is the Dallas Cowboys’ standoff with future Eagle Micah Parsons, or, as Jerry Jones called him last week, “Michael Parson” –
Boo! Boo this man! Pay Micah! Give him $50 million a year! Let’s see if the Cowboys can spend 50% of their salary cap on four players in Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, Michael Parson, and Terence Steele, only to go 9-8 and finish third in the NFC East behind the Washington Commies and the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.
“I heard it light, but not compared to how I heard them say, ‘Pay Lamb [last year],'” Jones said on Sunday of the CeeDee Lamb negotiations from last year. “That was a faint little sound compared to the way they were hollering last year, ‘Pay Lamb.’ … Whoever’s not in, you can count on a few hollering that. But it was a big loud chant last year on Lamb.”
On one hand, you do have to say that Jerry’s willingness to get in front of the fans and speak to them is admirable. The man is not hiding from anything. He always shows ACCOUNTABILITY, which is a favorite sports media word in Philadelphia. All coaches and players must be held accountable! But in Jerry’s case, these are good intentions that result in him sticking his foot in his mouth and looking like a total goof, so maybe it’s better than he just disappears for a little bit and lets things settle down. Sit down with Michael Parson and get things straightened out, instead of providing fodder to Philadelphia sports blogs.
The last time the Dallas Cowboys went to the NFC Championship Game, Tupac was on the Billboard charts! RIP Pac.
