First Take Fooled By Fake George Pickens and Cowboys Propaganda

It’s training camp for ESPN, too. They ran with a Cowboys highlight showing what looks like Dak Prescott launching a pass to George Pickens on the first play camp, after talking about Micah Parsons and if he should request a trade:
First off, doubling up on Cowboys topics in July after the team went 7-10 last year, and will probably finish third in the division again, is insane. We’ve got all year for this shit and they’re hammering us already on the first day of camp.
Secondly, the problem with the clip that fooled ESPN is that it’s from the account FergSZN and it’s actually a pass to Brandin Cooks during training camp from 2023. FergSZN isn’t even the one who originally tweeted it either:
So the producer who put this up on screen didn’t even cite the account that originally took the video and didn’t double check to make sure that was in fact Pickens. It’s even better when you learn that the first Cowboys open practice isn’t until Tuesday at 11:45 a.m., PST. They haven’t even practiced yet at the time this is being written. First Take is on at 10 a.m. on the east coast while Dak and Pickens are still sleeping in Oxnard, CA.
Turns out FergSZN trolled the entire Internet:
Man, I can’t believe ESPN is already going to great lengths to push Cowboys propaganda in the middle of July. How bad is it going to get when Disney acquires NFL Network and RedZone next week and the NFL gets an equity stake in ESPN? It’s going to be NFL Films just playing non-stop episodes of “A Football Life” featuring only Dallas Cowboys 24 hours a day on ESPN2. The Ridiculousness of ESPN. Scott Hanson is never going to be allowed to remove the Cowboys from the RedZone box. Another drive stopped on their own 30 and we’re still going to have to watch them punt. It’s going to be awful. It’ll be like the Longhorn Network before that blew up. DCESPN is coming and don’t tell me I didn’t warn you. All I ask is that every Jerry Jones interview is live-streamed directly to my eyeballs. Must see television every time:
