After a drawn out process, the Eagles have finally locked down Fletcher Cox for the long-term. According to Adam Schefter, the Eagles have given Cox the most guaranteed money for any non-QB in NFL history, $63 million. The long Cox deal is a 6-year, $103M extension that keeps Cox in Philly’s warm embrace through 2022. With all of the money going to the Eagles’ QBs this year, there was a concern among some that they couldn’t afford extending Cox. Turns out that wasn’t an issue.
