It’s a slow summer Friday, and I don’t feel like doing anything, but this hit the inbox and we’re gonna share it:

The Philadelphia Eagles and Addison Bay, a locally established lifestyle brand that is redefining elevated activewear, are collaborating on an exclusive, fashion-forward line curated specifically for women. A Philadelphia-based entrepreneur and former Division-I collegiate athlete, Marguerite Adzick founded Addison Bay in 2018 with the goal of creating a multi-generational wardrobe that seamlessly unites fashion and function for women.

The new collection evokes the pride and passion of the team with a stylish and trendy twist. The collection will officially launch on AddisonBay.com, Fanatics.com, and in Eagles Pro Shops on Monday, August 24.

The wardrobe, inspired by Adzick’s Philadelphia roots and Eagles fandom, features a variety of modern apparel pieces, including varsity quarter zips, tanks, leggings, seamed flounce skorts, cardigan sweatshirts, Panama dresses, and more. The highly anticipated line has been intentionally designed for function and comfort so that female fans can proudly cheer on their team throughout the year, especially on game days.

“Growing up in Philly, the Eagles have always been such a big part of this city and my life, so this collaboration is a really special one for me,” said Marguerite Adzick, Founder & CEO, Addison Bay. “Getting to put the Addison Bay spin on game day and create pieces our girls will actually want to wear all season long has been so much fun. I am incredibly proud of this collection and cannot wait to see Philly in AB and Philadelphia Eagles this fall. Go Birds!”

For a limited time, shoppers will receive a complimentary pair of embroidered socks with every Addison Bay purchase at participating Eagles Pro Shops. To celebrate the launch, fans are invited to attend an exclusive Addison Bay event at the Lincoln Financial Field Pro Shop on Thursday, August 27, where guests will enjoy photo booths, light refreshments, giveaways, and more.

“Elevated activewear” is code for “expensive as shit,” which is funny, but the quality of this stuff looks solid. This could be the new uniform for Main Line women who take private pickleball lessons, or Margate women who yell at Kylie Kelce in restaurant parking lots.

Jokes aside, I could see my wife wearing the hell out of this stuff:

Pretty dope. Looks like Vineyard Vines if Vineyard Vines was for chill female Birds fans and not snooty coastal preps.

It’s noted in the press release that Addison Bay founder Marguerite Adzick is from the Philly area. LinkedIn says she went to Penn Charter before going to UVA to play lacrosse. Then she worked at Lily Pulitzer for six years before founding this company in 2018.

The website blurb says:

Marguerite recognized a need in the industry for elevated activewear. The problem she was trying to solve? Finding activewear that was elevated yet comfortable.

Marguerite resigned from a job she loved – at six months pregnant! – to start Addison Bay, with the idea that elevated activewear was here to stay. Fast forward to today, Addison Bay is an omnichannel company selling online, at two retail locations and through several wholesale partners.

Marguerite was living on Addison Street in Philadelphia during the inception of the company – staying up late sitting at her kitchen counter writing the business plan and building the groundwork of the company you know today. Bay comes from swimming in the bay in Avalon, New Jersey which evokes the active lifestyle piece of AB.

You have to imagine the market for women’s Eagles clothing is a huge one. I’d love to find some statistics on this somewhere. Men typically wear the same shit, at least to games, right? You have your Brian Dawkins or Jeremiah Trotter jersey from 20 years ago, and you throw it over a hooded sweatshirt with jeans, then wear a matching eagles hat/beanie. Maybe you have a shirsey or two from Modell’s back in the day. But guys don’t necessarily update their Eagles wardrobe on the regular or make “outfits” or whatever. Most men don’t elevate their activewear beyond the Under Armor outlet at the “Philadelphia” Premium Outlets in Sanatoga. But women are all about this stuff. I predict that they absolutely will patronize Addison Bay and this new collection. Send some Addison Bay to the influencers and let’s get to the unboxing videos.
