The Giant Killer is calling it a career:

Boston had himself a really nice career. He was a 6th round pick back in 2018 out of Louisiana Tech, drafted by the hometown (relatively) Saints, though he was waived as a rookie despite making the initial roster. From there, he found his way to the Eagles practice squad and played musical chairs for a bit before settling into a backup RB and returner role, going on to play 75 regular season games for the Eagles and appearing in every playoff game along the way.

He finishes with 302 rushing attempts for 1,295 yards and 16 touchdowns. He also caught 71 passes for 566 yards and a score and logged more than 1,500 kick return yards. He appeared in Super Bowl 57 and just narrowly missed out on a ring, joining the Birds right after SB52 and leaving right before SB59.

10 of his career touchdowns were scored against the Giants, which will go into Eagles lore and stay there.

Open that tweet in a full window and read the message. It’s not that long, and it’s a good note. He does lament what he feels is the lack of opportunity to “fully showcase everything I’m capable of,” but this is the NFL we’re talking about here. The guy played the game at the highest level and achieved a lot more than most athletes do. He’s spot on when he talks about mixed emotions in walking away.
