Hope You’re Ready for Jason Peters at Left Tackle, Because Andre Dillard is Reportedly Done for the Year

Let’s be honest, we all knew this was coming. We all knew Jason Peters would start at left tackle for the Eagles at SOME POINT this season, we just didn’t think it would be under these circumstances:
#Eagles left tackle Andre Dillard will miss this season with a biceps injury suffered in practice today, sources say. @RealDGunn first on the injury earlier. Tests revealed the team’s fears were warranted. Surgery needed. Tough one for last year’s first-round pick.

Confirmed by Gunner, Schefter, and others. This has to be devastating news for Russ, who is the #1 Jason Peters hater in the Delaware Valley.
And now your starting offensive line looks like this:
- LT – Peters
- LG – Isaac Seumalo
- C – Jason Kelce
- RG – Matt Pryor
- RT – Lane Johnson
That’s two starting offensive linemen, done for the season, before the season even begins. And Big V is no longer around to plug the holes on a short-term basis. Could use his flexibility right now.
2020 is just the gift that keeps on giving.
(Serious note though, they might be better with Peters at LT. Dillard apparently didn’t look amazing in camp.)
