One of the non-Philly sports stories making the rounds on Tuesday was a one-sided Richard Sherman vs. Baker Mayfield beef, which goes something like this:

  1. Sherman claimed Mayfield snubbed him by not shaking hands before Monday night’s game
  2. video later came out showing that the two did indeed shake hands during the coin toss
  3. Sherman walked back his comments slightly and deleted a few tweets, but claimed he was annoyed that Mayfield gave him a “petty” shake before turning and running off after the coin flip

That’s the short version.

Out of nowhere then, here comes Howard Eskin, aka “The King,” telling Sherman to “shut up,” which resulted in this exchange:

Fantastic Twitter.

And Howard is not wrong with that final tweet. Sherman got caught here pushing some #fakenews.
