Hunter Biden Says Jake Tapper “Can’t Be That Bad” Because He’s an Eagles Fan

Hunter Biden spoke to an independent journalist named Andrew Callaghan for an interview running about three hours. In a writeup by Willa Pope Robbins at Mediaite, there’s a passage in which Biden goes after Jake Tapper, but concedes that he is a fellow Eagles fan:
Hunter took issue with the premise of the book itself (Original Sin, on Joe Biden’s cognitive decline), bemoaning that “now I have to deal with another fucking subpoena because Jake Tapper has decided that he’s, through anonymous sources, gonna create some conspiracy of a crime.”
He continued to tell Callaghan that Tapper was “not worth commenting on it because he’s completely irrelevant.”
“By the numbers, what influence does Jake Tapper have over anything? He has the smallest audience on cable news. And beyond that, I think that the book is right now on Amazon that he put out. I mean, his ratings just went to shit after he put the book out. And, you know, they did a two-week infomercial for it. I mean it was such a money grab, such a disservice to everybody that he serves with, the journalism that he purports to take part in,” Hunter fumed, and later added, “Jesus Christ, Jake, grow the fuck up.”
The former presidents son did find one redeeming quality in the journalist: “He’s got one thing, good thing going for him. He’s an Eagles fan, so he can’t be that bad.”

Biden is asked, in closing, if he has “any advice for Irish-Americans from the Philadelphia area who have a hard time with vulnerability,” which is a hilarious question until you pause, and realize how large that demo is around here:
This is a great message for the start of training camp. No matter how much you hate someone’s guts, if you slit them open, you’re gonna find kelly green entrails.
Speaking of disembowelment, that’s what Tapper did to the talking heads after the Eagles won the Super Bowl. He left their guts strewn across the situation room floor. Wolf Blitzer and Kaitlan Collins had to clean it up afterward. It was really good; Tapper kept all of the receipts and unloaded on all of the doofuses who predicted the Birds would fail in 2024. He’s a true Birds fan and and a Crossing Broad supporter, so a tip of the cap to Mr. Tapper, and Hunter Biden as well. We are all children of the Delaware Valley.
