This is the kind of stuff we need to focus on ahead of the Super Bowl. Quirky and totally random geographic notes:

Fascinating! This bodes well for the Birds. The cartography gods smile upon us. They know that the Chiefs cannot three-peat. The Eagles will travel westward and end the dynasty.

Of course, the only thing that is a little concerning about the graphic above is that the team that was stabbing westward (obscure band reference there) also was probably the better overall squad. New England had Tom Brady for three of those wins, playing against Kurt Warner*, Russell Wilson, and Jared Goff. The Ravens beat Jimmy G Colin Kaepernick and Pittsburgh had one of their wins over Matt Hasselbeck. So yeah.

*If I recall correctly, the Pats were actually big underdogs in that game. It was upstart New England squad that hadn’t begun their dynasty vs. The Greatest Show on Turf. That Rams team had five Hall of Famers, but the Pats’ defense played really well and scored on a pick-6 and created a bunch of turnovers.
