If We Do Enough Posts and Tweets, Andrew Van Ginkel will Forsake the Dolphins and Sign with the Birds

This video came out before the Eagles brought in Vic Fangio. It’s Drew Rosenhaus, who apparently does not own a comb, talking about his free agent client Andrew Van Ginkel:
Dolphins LB Andrew Van Ginkel’s agent Drew Rosenhaus tells me that Gink will be good to participate at the beginning of the offseason (foot injury vs. Bills in WK 18) & that he would LOVE to come back to Miami. He was having a career year and is a “great fit in Vic Fangio’s… pic.twitter.com/IAoVT50GMr

Well guess what? I know a team with a need for linebackers that is currently coached by Vic Fangio. The Philadelphia Eagles!
For real though, if we do enough posts and enough tweets, we can manifest Van Ginkel to the Birds. He’s a solid player, 28 years old and coming off his best season, playing in Fangio’s system. He logged 69 tackles, 19 quarterback hits, a career-high six sacks, and eight tackles for loss. That was playing on a one-year deal worth about $2.5 million, so he’s not going to break the bank, which Howie Roseman would never do for a linebacker anyway. Howie prefers to go dumpster diving for his LBs.
Rosenhaus notes that Van Ginkel would love to stay in Miami, but I wonder if that changes with Fangio leaving. There was also this clip that was all over Philly sports Twitter on Thursday, for your consideration:
Drew Rosenhaus: “It was not a unanimous positive relationship between now former #Dolphins DC Vic Fangio and the players.”
Rosenhaus reps many #Dolphins defensive players (Jerome Baker, Emmanuel Ogbah, Zach Sieler, Andrew Van Ginkel).

AVG is a good player. He’s not the missing piece for a Super Bowl return, and he’s not going to lock down Travis Kelce in 1v1 pass coverage, but he fills a position of need and would be well-liked here. It’s a move that makes sense, if he wants it. So let’s get to posting and tweeting.
