NFL coaches and players love clichés. They deliver them the entire season, i.e. “one game at a time” or “we gotta play a full 60 minutes.”

I didn’t know that “iron sharpens iron” was going to be the big cliché of training camp:

Just a comical amount of “iron sharpens iron” quotes one week into training camp. Next thing you know, you’re going to go home and visit your parents and your mom has an “iron sharpens iron” hand towel hanging off the stove she got from Etsy. This year she’s not losing the Christmas cookie exchange.

I look forward to the “No pressure. No diamonds.” portion of camp.

Kinkead: Let’s see if we can find an “iron sharpens iron” quote from all 32 NFL teams. Six down, 26 to go.
