It Looks Like Sidney Jones Is Playing Sunday Against Dallas

Per Ian Rapoport:
The #Eagles will activate rookie CB Sidney Jones and he will play vs. the #Cowboys, sources say. A reward for the second-rounder's hard work returning from a torn Achilles in April.

Yesterday, there appeared to be growing optimism that Jones would be activated sometime before Sunday’s regular season finale and play. That picture got a whole lot clearer when the Eagles put Joe Walker on injured reserve with a neck injury, creating a roster spot that would let Jones join the team.
We now have at least one reason to watch a game that doesn’t really matter that much besides pride. That is if Doug Pederson doesn’t make him a healthy scratch at the last minute, which I hope doesn’t happen.
Sunday will mark Jones’ first game since a 24-7 loss to Alabama in the Peach Bowl last New Year’s Eve, a span of 366 days. Enjoy some of his best plays from college:
