Jalen Hurts Named Starting Quarterback for Saints Game

Correct move right here:
Eagles’ HC Doug Pederson is naming Jalen Hurts his new starting quarterback and the rookie will start Sunday vs. the New Orleans Saints, sources tell @mortreport and me. Carson Wentz now will backup Hurts.

Look, I know people are concerned about Wentz, and wonder what this does to the psyche of the franchise quarterback who is earning big money next year. They didn’t give him enough weapons and blah blah blah, but seriously, this does not mean the guy’s career is over. He’ll sit on the bench and clear his mind.
Right now the season is lost, we’ve got four games left, and we need to see what Jalen Hurts can do. We need to get him meaningful game time and meaningful reps and learn as much as we can before putting a bow on this turd of a campaign.
We are on a fact finding mission, and Jalen Hurts is under center.
