Jalen Hurts Once Again Finds a Way to Win

The box score says Jalen Hurts went 26-37 for 264 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions in Tennessee. He added five carries for 16 yards.
But the line that really matters is this one:
6-8, 61 yards and a touchdown, one carry for four yards
That was the final drive, the game-winning drive that went 65 yards in nine plays spanning one minute and 47 seconds.

There’s a lot to digest from this game, which was a weird one. The Birds were oftentimes terrible on 1st and 2nd down, then looked great on a number of off-schedule, third down possessions. They made bad plays when on schedule and big plays while behind the sticks. The play calling looked great at times and horrific at others. It was a high ceiling/low floor type of performance against a team that had lost 21 of their last 24.
But the Eagles buckled down and made their biggest plays when it mattered most, with QB1 leading the way. Mind you, this was after he threw an inception to end the previous drive, a ball he underthrew with Jeffery Simmons bearing down on him after beating Cam Jurgens. Hurts looked unfazed by that, and was in control throughout the final drive.
This is the stuff that weighs more. It has more value when you argue with idiots on social media. This is a game-winning drive, from a quarterback whose best trait is finding ways to win games. And let the record state that the offensive line was largely poor on the afternoon, while Saquon Barkley missed an entire half and Dallas Goedert left early through injury. Hurts found a way with DeVonta Smith, Cooper, Dontayvion Wicks, Johnny Mundt, and Tank Bigsby.
