Jalen Hurts Says it Wasn’t the Best Idea to Re-Enter Giants Game

Let’s begrudgingly get it back to the Eagles:
Jalen Hurts said it was “probably not, physically, the best idea” to return to the Giants game with his dislocated.
He hasn’t thrown yet this week but said “everything is progressing in the right way” with the finger. #Eagles pic.twitter.com/7vQQTjSpd6

Jalen Hurts on improvising vs. Seattle: “There’s a lot you guys don’t know. In fact, you don’t know what you don’t know.”

Firstly, the Giants game. There was 14:06 left in the second quarter when Jalen threw the 3rd and 8 interception and banged his hand off Bobby Okereke on a follow through. That was the 4th and 3 incompletion. New York went down the field and scored to make it 10-0, then Hurts played most of the rest of the quarter before Marcus Mariota came in.
So from the perspective of competition, the game was still winnable, and Dallas was still tight with Washington at the time. Physically it might not have made sense, but the division was still in play at that point, so it’s not like he went out there for garbage time.
To the second tweet, I’m not sure what that even means. “You don’t know what you don’t know.” That sounds like something that either Nietzsche or Captain Obvious would say. It’s very deep and very shallow at the same time. And while we’re certainly not privy to in-game communication between the coaches and players, we know enough to know that the offense ain’t exactly lighting the world on fire right now.
And if you don’t know, then now you know:
