Are they gonna fire this dude or what?

Will his contract just run out?

No clue what the Cowboys are doing with head coach Jason Garrett, but ESPN’s Ed Werder has an idea:

Here’s more on Werder’s report via ESPN:

According to multiple sources, the Joneses and Garrett did not have their scheduled meeting at The Star on Thursday after meeting on Monday and Tuesday without any resolution on the coach’s status. Garrett’s contract is set to expire Jan. 14 and his status with the team has been uncertain since last February, when the Cowboys opted not to offer him an extension.

Alright, so it’s the worst kept secret in the world. Garrett is apparently done and the Cowboys will have their first new head coach in a long time. Just need official word and we can wrap this thing up for good, then Crossing Broad reader Matt Groves will stop complaining about our Cowboys posts on Facebook.
