Jason Kelce Thinks Jason Pierre-Paul is too Dumb to Correct Tom Coughlin’s Incorrect Math

Nothing like some good NFC East smack talk to liven up a Friday, and prove that I was wrong when I thought it wasn’t possible to love Jason Kelce any more.
Kelce, who is reportedly on the fasttrack back from his abdominal injury, called into the WIP Morning Show this morning and was asked about Jason Pierre-Paul’s questionable calculations. Of JPP’s comment that the Eagles at 4-1 could easily be 0-4, Kelce said:
“Well my response to that is, I don’t think Jason Pierre-Paul is smart enough to come up with that statement on his own. I think he’s the type of guy that just reiterates what his coaches have been telling him. So, I’m a little worried about Tom Coughlin’s math ’cause I feel like maybe that’s where it was screwed up. Maybe it was just relayed to him.”
Oh shit double burn. For one, Kelce thinks JPP is super stupid. And for a second thing, Kelce thinks ol’ Tommy Boy doesn’t know his math either. Just to make sure they heard it right, Cataldi and his cohorts continued:
So you are not impressed by the intellect of the New York Giants?
“That is correct,” Kelce answered. “They are a good football team though, but yes.”
It takes a special kind of smack talk to say that your opponents are good football players but they’re dumb and their coach is dumb, and I really like how this is playing out.
When he's not writing about sports here or ranting about them on Twitter, Jim is probably watching X-Files on Netflix or drinking a beer somewhere. Jim has nothing against hockey, it's just not his style. He once met Duce Staley at a Sixers game.
