Jordan Mailata’s Shoulder Injury is Not Serious

Update here from Jeff McLane:
#Eagles LT Jordan Mailata said he “dodged a bullet” on his shoulder injury. Said he feared the worst after he had to pop it back in. Scan revealed an injury that could be day to day. Has a chance to play Sunday. pic.twitter.com/ltW7GPJusb

Wow, great news. If Mailata was out long term, they’d have to roll with Jack Driscoll at left tackle until Andre Dillard was ready to go.
The injury took place Sunday during the Andre Cisco pick-six. Mailata tried to make a tackle near the goal line and then had to come out of the game. It wouldn’t have gotten to that point if A.J. Brown brought Cisco down, but yes, there’s always the risk of Brown injuring himself as well. We argued about this on Twitter. Brown explained himself after the game and it was all good. The Eagles are 4-0 and Mailata isn’t seriously injured. Everything is fine.
