Josh Allen Missing a Layup Game-Winner Was Karmic Justice for Sean McDermott’s Reprehensible Tush Push Hypocrisy

Now that our blood pressure has returned to normal (still high, but not 150 over 95), let’s laugh at Josh Allen missing a wide-open receiver in the end zone on what would have been a game-winning two-point conversion:
This is straight-up karma. Karma for Sean McDermott, who ran the tush push on the previous play, and earlier in the game for the first Bills’ touchdown. The same tush push that Buffalo voted to ban after McDermott complained about health and safety risks over the summer. In fact, he’s run it more than anybody not named the Eagles this season and has now scored nine touchdowns with the play.
It looked like Buffalo would score twice against the Eagles using their own play, then essentially walk it off on the most disgusting conversion of all time, but McDermott’s MVP quarterback missed a layup and the Bills lost at home.
You can’t write a better script.
It really is cosmic justice for his outrageous hypocrisy. You don’t just vote to ban the tush push, then run it twice against the team that invented it and walk away with a victory. This really does feel like definitive proof that god exists. Maybe we need to find our way back to church. God wills it!
