Josh Jobe Hit Stefon Diggs Out of Bounds, Punched Him in the Face, then Won the Super Bowl

Josh Jobe! Can’t believe nothing happened there. No flags, no ejections, nothing. It was on brand though because the Patriots got completely bullied on both sides of the ball and nobody did a damn thing about it.
Congrats to Jobe though, for real. Guy went undrafted to the Birds in 2022 out of Alabama. He played in 28 games here but couldn’t break through with the defense and they ended up waiving him in August of 2024, after the Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean draft and before the Super Bowl run. He wound up on the Seattle practice squad, got onto the active roster in November of 2024, and then re-signed in March and became a starter this year.
He logged 7 tackles, one for loss, and a PBU in a 29-13 Super Bowl win. They threw at him a bunch and he didn’t allow much of anything at all, just three receptions for about a dozen yards. Drake Maye put up some garbage time numbers. It was truly one of the worst Super Bowls ever, but the Patriots got their asses handed to them, so that made it enjoyable. Those bums played nobody all year long, then benefited from fluke postseason injuries. They had no business being on the same field with the Seahawks.
Birds win it next year.
