Josh Sweat is Staying in Philadelphia

Josh Sweat is staying with the Eagles:
#Eagles pass-rusher Josh Sweat is staying in Philly, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. He’s agreed to terms on a restructured contract, despite interest elsewhere for what likely would have been a pay increase. Philly keeps a good one home. pic.twitter.com/xTp8etWjel

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler says the restructured deal has $10 million guaranteed, plus incentives that can push it to $13 million.
Sweat was in the same boat as Haason Reddick, told he could seek a trade and explore the market. The Eagles went out and signed Bryce Huff in free agency, and they’ve got Brandon Graham back on a one-year deal with Nolan Smith entering his sophomore season, so we’ll see if the Sweat domino falling results in Reddick’s departure. In a perfect world, both guys stay, since EDGE is a premium position in this NFL. There are always opportunities to get three of these guys on the field at once, for example an obvious passing down where Graham replaces a tackle on the interior.
