LeSean McCoy, on his show Speakeasy, wants out of the Eagles Hall of Fame if the team doesn’t fire Kevin Patullo:

The offense is so bad that Shady is asking for his name out of the Hall of Fame if the offensive coordinator isn’t fired. That’s leadership right there.

Listen, the chatter has been firmly placed on Jalen Hurts after his three interception (one was AJ Brown’s fault) performance on Monday Night Football. It’s easy to put the blame on the QB’s shoulders when he loses and then discount him when he wins. No Super Bowl-winning QB has ever gotten this kind of treatment. Sure, Hurts was frustrating on Monday, but do me a favor and look at offense’s numbers from last year compared to this year. Is this really all because an offensive line sucks or is this more of the fact that the play-caller can’t take Nick Sirianni’s offense and make it work like Kellen Moore did?

People can bitch and complain about Hurts all they want, but it’s not like we haven’t seen this exact scenario play out in the past. That’s the crazy part when you hear people wanting Hurts benched. I’d understand the gripes more if we didn’t have literal evidence of this from the past. Eagles go to Super Bowl, lose OC, and the next year they stink. We’re repeating the cycle. Sirianni should never be allowed to pick his play-caller for as long as he is in Philadelphia. Be the CEO coach. Be the leader with the fun analogies. You can be the designer of the offense, but you’re obviously incapable of hiring/promoting a guy who can run it. For some reason Patullo sees something working and refuses to go back to it. If Hurts isn’t going to run the ball out of shotgun there should be a more balanced attack with him under center:
