Lito Sheppard Wants to Open a Medical Marijuana Growery in Chester

Day 2 of former Eagles campaigning on behalf of medical marijuana.
Yesterday, Jim wrote about Todd Herremans advocating for medical marijuana usage among NFL players. And today it’s Lito Sheppard (can he still play?).
Former Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard is the lead investor in Laso Therapeutics, an investor group which submitted a medicinal marijuana grower/processor application to the Commonwealth on Monday.
The company is seeking to help patients who would benefit from medical marijuana, plus provide more information on the treatment. The group is also hoping to help develop Chester, Pennsylvania, as they have entered an agreement to purchase land in Chester — Region 1 of Pennsylvania’s medical marijuana regions — to construct a grower/processor facility.
Meanwhile, Donovan McNabb is taking a decidedly different route– he is lobbying to build a drive-thru speakeasy in South Jersey.*
*I did this post solely to make that joke. Don’t judge me.
