Ahead of Super Bowl 60:

“It was very close. Eagles, before Jaelan Phillips, before all them, it was me. It was me. And I was really about to come, but there was one person that I had to play with, that if he was gone I did not want to be there. And that was Jalen Carter. They (Dallas) wanted a D tackle. And they wanted to trade me for some picks. I don’t really care about the picks, but I’m coming to play next to JC, you feel me? Sorry Cowboys fans. It really almost happened. That would have been.. I feel like the trajectory would have changed.”

Wouldn’t have made a difference. The Eagles’ defense was good from start to finish. They needed someone on offense to play well. They needed to trade for a miracle doctor to heal the offensive line or trade for a different offensive coordinator. That would have changed the trajectory.

Alas, we move on.
