The Angels should just do what’s right and give us Mike Trout. We gave them Logan O’Hoppe for peanuts. Return the favor. Let Trout finish his career on the team he grew up rooting for so he can start going to Eagles games in September, too. This is a cry for help:
Serious question…do you think Mike Trout owns more Eagles gear or Angels gear? Has to be Eagles gear, right? I’ve never seen that guy in Angels gear outside of the MLB season. That’s because he’s front row at the Linc head-to-toe in Birds gear even on days when it’s cold and rainy in December.
Look at this:
It’s going to be wild when the best player in baseball for most of the decade never finishes with a playoff win while Jalen Hurts already has six and a Lombardi and there is zero doubt that Trout would have it any other way. He’s not the first guy from South Jersey who would take an Eagles Super Bowl over personal career achievements. He’s going to make more money than god anyway when he opens up that golf course with Tiger Woods and joins the Eagles ownership group after he retires. Then he can start counting all of the playoff wins on his resume.
