Litigating the Minor Chirping Incident Between Eagles Fans vs. Rams Coaches
Let’s litigate this:
Hmm. The only thing that is clearly out of line is the throwing of the water bottle. You can hear the other Eagles fans in the section do a sort of groan / “hey!” as if to say that the perpetrator should not have done that. Throwing stuff is always lame. Leave that to the Mexico fans at the Azteca.
Otherwise, this looks like standard interaction between grown men who really like football. There are some healthy double birds being sent box-ward. In the second video, the meathead-looking Rams coach with the tight shirt does a double-arm pump type of motion, saying something to the effect of “yeah! what’s up now? what’s up now?” (paraphrasing). That guy was probably juiced up after the comeback win, and I don’t blame him.
I’d like to know if Eagles fans were giving it to these guys during the game. That’s not specified in the videos. Who chirped first? If the Rams coaches started it by banging on the window, then it’s a little corny, but otherwise the only truly bad behavior is the chucking of the water bottle.
The matter is now settled.
