Mychal Kendricks Seems… Annoyed With Cleveland Reports

Mychal Kendricks has always been a bit combative with the media, which I kind of like. He was never really afraid to clap back or call bullshit, if that’s what he saw.
The ex-Eagle went on the market after recently being released and is allegedly signing with the Browns on a one year, $3.5 million deal. For whatever reason, Kendricks seemed really irked by the reports:
You will never have my respect

Not sure what that’s all about. Rapoport has a pretty solid track record of getting things right, yeah? I can’t recall any sort of history there, unless there’s some insidious crapola going on that we’re not privy to.

Mychal Kendricks on report he’s signing with Cleveland texted me to say “fake news bruh , we are in negotiations with a number of teams period”

Mychal Kendricks on report he is signing with the Browns: 1/2: “No, it’s not accurate. I don’t know who the (bleep) said that. That (bleep) is (bleep). Whoever said that (bleep) is (bleep). That’s all I have to say, man. I’m not really talking to anybody else about it…

I called free-agent LB Mychal Kendricks to ask him about the Yahoo Sports report tonight that he has agreed to a one-year deal with Cleveland with a maximum value of $3.5 million. He hung up.

Per Mychal Kendricks' agent — @DHendrickson41 — a deal has NOT been reached with the #Browns. Cleveland is the favorite, but contract negotiations are ongoing. Again, a deal is NOT done.

Yeah… I don’t know. The agent could just be trying to leverage another team here. There was apparently interest from the Vikings and Raiders.
Whatever happens, he’s going to be a solid starter on an NFL team. He left Philly as a Super Bowl winner who became a cap casualty. Shrug.
Time’s yours.
