New Eagles Poster Goes Pretty Hard

Not gonna lie, I’m kind of aroused by this. Not in a sexual way, but in a “let’s get ready for seven hours of commercial free football” kind of way, like Baldy breaking down the video on a Monday morning.
If I had to rank the five techniques/tactics on that poster I’d go:
- violently attack the ball
- hammer
- rake
- punch
- outside arm reach finish
Hammer, rake, and punch are all great terms. “Violently attack the ball” is my favorite because it reminds me of Brian Dawkins. Weapon X. The only stupid one on there is “outside arm reach finish,” which doesn’t sound threatening at all. They should have rephrased that one.
A couple of other good synonyms here:
- rip
- scrape
- strip
- bash
- poke
- stab
- jab
- slash
- hack
- claw
- cleave
- rend
Maybe a little too violent there. We’re talking football, not the next Cannibal Corpse album. Go Birds.
