NFL Draft: Moving on Up?

Inject all of the NFL Draft rumors straight in our veins:
The Eagles have been active this week with phone calls on a potential move-up. Multiple teams in that range think Philly might be trying to get ahead of Dallas for one of the top corners. Some NFC East jockeying going on.

There had been similar reports in the past week or two, talking about Howie Roseman working the phones and exploring a move up or a move back, and it’s all interesting.
Dallas picks 10th, and the Giants pick 11th. If the Eagles wanted to get in front and go for somebody like Patrick Surtain, they could talk to Carolina at eight or Denver at nine, who may be amicable to trading back after going out and getting Sam Darnold and Teddy Bridgewater, respectively.
On the surface, it would seem funky to trade out of six, only to go back up to eight or nine. But if you can keep that Miami first round pick and come up with a different package to move a few spots up and get the guy you want, then it would be a palatable bit of business.
We are intrigued.
