The NFL announced its list of international games on Wednesday and the Birds will not be leaving the United States to play football in 2022:

It’ll be the Cardinals and Niners in Mexico City.

There was a chance the Eagles could play down there, since they had a road game against Arizona on the schedule, but instead of going to Mexico now the game will be played in Glendale.

Here are the other foreign games in 2022:

  • London: Vikings-Saints (Oct. 2/Tottenham Stadium)
  • London: Giants-Packers (Oct. 9/Tottenham Stadium)
  • London: Broncos-Jaguars (Oct. 30/Wembley)
  • Munich: Seahawks-Bucs (Nov. 13/Allianz Arena)

The Allianz is where Bayern Munich plays. Cool to see Germany get a game. And the previous NFL games in London were held at Wembley, so it’s nice to see them branch out and play in Tottenham’s new stadium, which holds 62,000 fans. The Eagles played at Wembley when they were in London a few years ago. Touchdowns in that game from Zach Ertz, Dallas Goedert, and Wendell Smallwood.
