Not Exactly a Blockbuster, but the Eagles Trade for a Cornerback

Corner was a position of need this offseason.
The Eagles drafted one CB and they’ve gone out and made a trade:
Trade: Jaguars are dealing CB Josiah Scott to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for CB Jameson Houston and a 2023 sixth-round pick, per sources.

Scott enters his second NFL season. He was a fourth-round draft pick in 2020 and played six games for the Jags last year, amounting to 80 snaps (about 7%).
Apparently he’s a smallish slot corner who got buried on the Jags’ depth chart. Michigan State guy. Named to ESPN’s Freshman All-America team during his time in East Lansing. He was also a second-team all conference player in 2019.
Seems like a good trade on the surface. Buy low on a 22-year-old fourth rounder and see what he’s got? Nothing wrong with that.
