Patriots Weasel Their Way into the A.J. Brown “Next Team” Market After Trollish Appearance on Julian Edelman’s Podcast
A.J. Brown trolling on Julian Edelman’s podcast, Games with Names – OR IS HE? –
Philadelphia is a better spot for A.J. Brown in 2026 than New England. Jalen Hurts is better than Drake Maye. The Eagles’ offensive line will be healthy and better than the Patriots’ offensive line. New England isn’t going to luck out with an easy schedule followed by playoff Herbert, injured Nico Collins, and then Jarrett Stidham in a snow globe. That New England team isn’t going back to the Super Bowl. They’re only doing two things in 2026 – jack and shit.
Apparently the wagering public thinks New England is a realistic A.J. destination though, because they’ve climbed into the #2 spot at Kalshi:
The A.J. Brown market has been all over the place. The Eagles remain the top destination, but they’re hovering only around 40%. The Giants and Patriots have both traded above 25% and the duo of Denver and Buffalo is there on the periphery. Those two spots would honestly be better than New England. You get a chance to play with Josh Allen and get that Bills team over the hump? Play in a Joe Brady offense? Or you go join a Broncos team that has a franchise QB and turned the corner hard in 2025? They would have been in the Super Bowl if Bo Nix didn’t get hurt.
Whatever you think is gonna happen, there’s good value here. If you trust your gut, you should get in on this market now.
