Report: Eagles Press Eject on Taylor, Staley to Lions

The dominoes coaching dominoes continue to fall. First, it was reported that Duce Staley will be leaving the Eagles organization to take a job with the Detroit Lions. He’ll serve as an assistant head coach and running backs coach:

I know a lot of people and some players said he deserved a serious look for the Eagles’ head coaching vacancy, but clearly something held Jeffrey Lurie back from promoting him to offensive coordinator at the very least.
Meanwhile, QB coach and passing game coordinator Press Taylor is out:

This isn’t entirely surprising as the the Eagles look to revamp their coaching staff and bring new voices into the locker room. It remains to be seen if any other coaching moves will be made in the immediate future.
