Report: Eagles Signing Former Redskins RB Matt Jones

Ignore everything I wrote about Terrance West this morning, all three paragraphs.
Per Ian Rapoport:
The #Eagles are signing FA RB Matt Jones, formerly of the #Colts, today, source says. He won a 3-RB workout on Tuesday.

Look out for the seven-headed monster this year:
- Jay Ajayi
- Corey Clement
- Darren Sproles
- Wendell Smallwood
- Donnel Pumphrey
- Josh Adams
- Matt Jones
That, folks, is what we call a “stable” of running backs. Should be a ton of competition for roster spots in the summer. I’m at least intrigued to see how it plays out.
Jones wasn’t amazing in Washington and had just five carries for the Colts this year. He fumbled the ball 7 times as a Redskin and scored 6 touchdowns, but he does have the size to be the bigger back that the Eagles lost in LeGarrette Blount.
His career stats:
I’m not really a huge Jones fan.
You?
