Fucccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.
Sure, he’s expected to be back by the start of the season, but he was already limited in camp with a groin issue. Losing your best defensive end is never good. Especially when it could take some time to get back into game shape after the injury. If you’re a glass half full person I guess you can look at this and say that Nolan Smith will get more reps. I’m worried about this Eagles defense. We had one of the best of all time last year. Now we’re dealing with injuries, a new defensive coordinator, and relying on rookies and second year players to pick up the slack. That’s before you talk about the thin linebacker and safety corps. Everyone is high right now on Sydney Brown, Jalen Carter, and Nolan Smith. I remember us being high during training camp on Nakobe Dean and Jordan Davis last year and how did that work out? Not well.
