Surprise! Taylor Heinicke Added to Washington’s COVID List

Washington Football Team QB Taylor Heinicke has tested positive for COVID-19 and is going on the reserve list, per me and @MikeGarafolo.

At last check, Washington had 21 guys on the COVID list. Their defense is decimated. The line moved all the way from -5 to -9.5. It was already gonna be an Eagle cakewalk to 7-7.
Kyle Allen is WFT’s backup, and he’s on the COVID list, too, so Adam Schefter says Garrett Gilbert is signing with the team formerly known as the Redskins and will start on Sunday. Gilbert, you may recall, was a Dallas backup in 2020 and played in a 24-19 loss to Pittsburgh. He went 21-38 with one touchdown and one interception and was sacked a couple of times. He was a 6th round pick out of Southern Methodist back in 2014.
The Eagles could run for 300 yards on Sunday. Not kidding! Warshington is down seven D-linemen and they are on their 5th string center. They are missing their top two quarterbacks (three if you count Fitzmagic). The Birds could very well obliterate them like nobody has been obliterated before. It could be total annihilation at Lincoln Financial Field. Get Mare of Havertown down there to celebrate the coming win.
